Best Practice Principles
Drawing inspiration from some of the great British stalwarts of service, we promote a positive attitude towards both our assignees and suppliers. No request is too ambitious. Our best practice principles are key to the services we provide and can be summarised as follows:
Assignees undergo one needs assessment and one survey with a dedicated K2 co-ordinator, thus avoiding time consuming repetition of information to several agents. Our teams proactively communicate with each other and our vendors, ensuring a structured and process driven communication with each assignee.
We consolidate costs to provide one invoice per relocation. Invoicing can be tailored to your account needs - we track and report on progress against PO reference numbers, cost centers and will tailor our invoices to your specific assignment types.
Independence All service options presented are recommended on quality- we will never nominate a substandard vendor, regardless of price. We do not manipulate rebates from our suppliers, and as such our recommendations are completely independent. For shipping services, K2 will approach at least three origin suppliers, along with numerous freight and destination agents, to ensure that the most cost effective solution is presented to our accounts. Our global buying power ensures the lowest rates whilst ensuring no loss in service.
100% quotation accuracy. We track our initial quotations against final invoices and expect nothing less than 100% accuracy.
We enable live assignment tracking via the K2 extranet, providing an extensive and live suite of reporting, with the ability to feedback detailed policy demographics, exceptions, financial trends, cost savings and on-going assignment costs.
We audit each invoice submitted by our vendors- in shipping, cross checking volumes against a controlled tariff, and for relocation, ensuring the services invoiced are fully corroborated with the Assignee.
Our insurance products are simple and clear- assignees do not need to complete a detailed valued inventory to comply with the K2 Insurance Policy, underwritten by a Delta Lloyd Company, and all insurance values are confirmed in writing with both assignees and our accounts, prior to service engagement.
